The Council for Nonprofit Innovation (CNI) is dedicated to enhancing the transparency, accountability and overall performance of organizations in the nonprofit sector. By identifying best management practices in leading nonprofit organizations and disseminating them to others, CNI improves the capacity of foundations and nonprofit organizations to manage, evaluate and improve their “bottom-line” impact and performance.

CNI strives to increase nonprofit capacity through planning, measuring, managing and communicating organizational performance and compliance to federal mandates. Through the dissemination of research and best practices, CNI helps philanthropic organizations streamline measuring and reporting activities to achieve greater social change.

We publish a bi-monthly Nonprofit and Foundation Management newsletter that goes out to over 25,000 nonprofit professionals nationwide.

We design and deliver timely and cutting-edge conferences and trainings dealing with a variety of nonprofit policy issues

We convene a council quarterly to assess the sector’s educational and training needs and then deliver events correlating to those needs

We offer competitively priced consulting services ranging from strategic planning to program evaluation and risk assessment
